AI controls: enable, threshold, mode

The three toggles at the top of /portal/reviews — what each does and when to flip them.

Updated 2026-04-29

The strip at the top of /portal/reviews has three controls. Each saves immediately when you click — you'll see a small 'Saved' indicator.

Auto-draft replies (on/off)

Master switch. When off, reviews still get scraped + show up in the list, you just don't get an AI draft. Useful if you want to handle reviews 100% by hand.

Draft for ratings ≤ N stars

1★ – 5★ segmented selector. Default is 4★. Pick:

1★ onlyDrafts ONLY for one-star reviews. Cheapest in API costs; you handle the rest by hand.
≤ 2★1- and 2-star. Common for shops who only want help with the worst.
≤ 3★Includes middling reviews — the ones that read 'fine but...' and could swing either way.
≤ 4★ (default)Drafts for everything except 5-star reviews. Catches everything that needs a thoughtful response.
≤ 5★Drafts for every review including 5-star. Useful if you want a consistent voice on every reply.

Publishing mode

  • Manual (default): AI drafts, you approve, you copy + paste to the platform.
  • Auto: AI drafts AND auto-publishes — but only on Google (the others don't have a reply API).
Auto mode caveat

Auto-publishing on Google means the reply goes live without your review. We recommend keeping a human-in-the-loop unless you've watched the AI handle 50+ reviews and trust the voice.
