Feature toggles - what's active for your plan

All 35 features across 8 categories, how tier defaults work, and how to toggle anything on or off.

Settings → Features shows every feature available on your plan and lets you toggle each one. Off doesn't mean gone - the data stays; the feature is just paused. The page only shows features your current plan tier includes. Features you'd need to upgrade for show on /portal/billing instead.

35 features across 8 categories

The catalog groups features by what part of the business they touch. Your plan determines which categories and features you can access.

Phone receptionist (Voice / Front Office)

  • Answer calls 24/7 - AI picks up every inbound call.
  • Block spam calls - hang up automatically on robocalls.
  • Take messages + email owner - forward voicemail-style summaries after hours.
  • Book appointments by voice - receptionist books a slot during the call (requires calendar integration).
  • Transfer to a human on demand - caller can ask to reach a real person.
  • After-call follow-up SMS - sends the caller a recap text with a confirm/reschedule link. (Default off - opt-in.)
  • Call forwarding setup - one-click forwarding of your existing business number to the AI receptionist.
  • Hot-lead SMS alerts - texts the owner immediately when the receptionist captures a high-intent lead.

Scheduling + dispatch (Bundle / Front Office)

  • Smart tech scheduling - ranks slots by minimum drive time; one-click route-optimize tool.
  • Auto-book from leads - when a lead's intent is clear, the AI books instead of just replying.
  • Day-before appointment reminders - text + email to customer.
  • Tech mobile day-view - mobile-first PWA for techs in the field.
  • GPS location tracking - track techs during the workday. Two-gate consent: owner enables + tech approves. (Default off - privacy-sensitive.)
  • Dispatcher kanban - drag-and-drop assignment of leads + appointments to techs.

Lead handling (Bundle / Front Office)

  • Auto-reply to email leads - AI reads inbound email, classifies intent, drafts and sends a reply.
  • Two-way SMS conversations - customers can text in and have a back-and-forth with the AI.
  • Urgent lead escalation - push-pages the owner immediately when a burst-pipe / after-hours emergency comes in.
  • Auto-request review after job - sends a Google review link when an appointment flips to completed. (Available on Visibility / Bundle / Front Office.)
  • Pipeline kanban board - drag-and-drop lead pipeline with deal value rollups per column.

Marketing & visibility (Visibility / Bundle / Front Office)

  • Google Business Profile posts - AI writes and publishes GBP posts (4/mo on Visibility/Bundle, 8/mo on Front Office).
  • Auto-reply to Google reviews - drafts a reply to every new review; owner approves or auto-publishes.
  • Monthly performance report - emailed on the 1st: leads, calls, GBP impressions, ROI summary.
  • SEO blog posts - AI-written long-form posts for local SEO (1/mo on Visibility, 2/mo on Front Office).

Money & billing (Bundle / Front Office)

  • Recurring service contracts - create + manage maintenance contracts with three billing modes (autopay, auto-invoice, manual collect).
  • Stripe autopay subscriptions - charge customers' saved cards on the contract cadence.
  • Save card on file + charge later - send a save-card link; charge off-session for follow-up invoices.
  • Customer billing portal - customers self-serve their saved card, invoices, and active subscriptions via Stripe's hosted portal.
  • Bring your own pay link (BYOPL) - add a Cash App / PayPal / Venmo pay link to invoices. Available on every plan.

Field operations (Bundle / Front Office)

  • Tech time sheets - per-tech clock-in/out tracking with payroll-ready CSV export.
  • Parts inventory - track parts on truck + warehouse, low-stock alerts, parts-on-job tagging.
  • Pricing book - centralized service pricing so techs quote consistent prices in the field.
  • Job + truck expenses - per-job and per-truck expense tracking for cost-of-service reporting.
  • Multiple locations - run multiple shop locations under one workspace (Bundle: up to 3, Front Office: unlimited).

Account (Front Office only)

  • Quarterly strategy calls - 45-minute planning call with your account lead via Calendly.
  • Priority support (1-hour SLA) - front-of-line support response within one business hour.

Core - every plan

These features are on every tier. They appear in the feature catalog so you can technically turn them off (rare - some shops don't use quotes, for example), but the list is here for completeness.

  • Customer database - track every customer's contact info, service history, equipment, and notes.
  • Quotes - build and send quotes with one-tap acceptance + Stripe deposit collection.
  • Invoices - send invoices via email or SMS with embedded pay-now buttons.
  • Schedule + appointments - calendar view, click-and-create scheduling.
  • Team members + roles - owner/dispatcher/tech/billing/viewer with per-feature permissions.
  • Performance reports - lead count, call count, appointment count by month.
  • Calendar integrations - two-way sync with Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, and Calendly.

How to toggle a feature

    Go to Settings → Features

    The page lists every feature your plan tier includes, organized by category. Features not in your tier are not shown here.

    Find the feature

    Scroll by category or use browser find (⌘F / Ctrl+F). Each feature shows its current state: on (green), off (grey), or default (inheriting the plan default).

    Click the toggle

    Flips immediately. No save button - each toggle saves independently. 'Off' pauses the feature but preserves all data.

Per-tech and per-member overrides

The toggles on Settings → Features are workspace-level defaults. You can also override per team member from the Team page - for example, GPS tracking can be enabled workspace-wide but a specific tech's tracking_consent_at controls whether it actually runs for them. Granular permission overrides per member are in /portal/team → click the member → Permissions.

Some controls live elsewhere

'Auto-reply to Google reviews' is the master tier gate, but the star-rating threshold and auto-publish vs. approve mode live on /portal/reviews → Settings. We surface detailed controls where you actually use them, not buried three levels deep in Settings.
